In 1915, the "West Chester Rifle and Pistol Club" merged with the "Easton Rifle and Pistol Club". In 1921, the "Harrisburg Rifle and Pistol Club" merged with the "Patriot". In 1925, the "Harrisburg Shotgun & Fishing Club" merged with the "Rifle and Pistol Clubs of America". In 1928, the "Pennsylvania Shotguns Association" merged with the then-newly created “National shotgun Association”. In 1934, both of these organizations were disbanded when they were combined into what is now known as “The National Shooting Sports Foundation”. Easton is a town in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 7,057 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. In 1825, John Easton surveyed and named this township after his father-in-law and business partner James Easton. The present name of the town was chosen in honor of General George Washington by the Township Committee on October 17, 1925. The first settler in what is now Easton Township was John Easton who explored and named it for his father-in-law James Easton on October 17th, 1825 according to deed dated that date. At that time there were only a few scattered families living near Huntingdon Valley which made early travel difficult so it was important for settlers to find a place with good water rights so they could build their homes and start businesses. By 1830 most of present day Bucks County had been developed with small villages dotting the landscape where farmers grew whiskey and other crops while men hunted deer and turkey possible game sources as well as areas used for tanning Leather from hides then shipping back to Europe rawhide products such as harnesses etc... Today many people still grow corn, wheat and soybeans along with Manufacturing companies doing things like car manufacturing (Ford), Steel production (Miller), chemicals (Merrill Lynch) ect... As more people moved into these townships newer streets were laid out making way easier access to shopping centers/mall complexes/restaurants etc... One of the earliest examples of this type of development can be found in what is now known as "EastON" located just east of downtown Philadelphia on Girard Street. On July 1st 1892 when it opened as a department store called Macy's this building became home to one of the largest candy stores in America due largely to its location next door on Girard Street opposite two large warehouses which housed other retail tenants including Jollibee Fruit Company (later Abbott Laboratories) - both operations are now gone but evidence remains today including an Abbott Laboratories building across Girard Street from Macy's that once held food services providing service similar to Subway sandwich shops today! In 1924 when Philadelphia built its new Civic Center - West Side - within walking distance from old Girard & Market Streets east side streets were renamed Grist Mill Road (now Sprague Avenue) & Southwark Avenue in honor of prominent citizens & businessmen who gave their support during construction including Mayor Kelly represented by Judge Charles A Whitehead! In 1955 when Bethlehem Steel closed down its steel plant here about half way between Camden Yards & downtown Phillyracist riots took place leaving over 100 dead with several thousand homes burned out or looted taking extensive damage! This event also served as catalyst for legislation establishing city limits east of Broad Street which would eventually become University City

In 1865, the Colt revolver was patented that allowed for the carrying of more than one round in a magazine. In 1903, the Winchester Repeating Arms Company produced its own magazine system that allowed for the carrying of multiple rounds in each magazine. In 1934, Congress passed the National Firearms Act which created the National Firearms Registry and limited manufacture and sale of firearms to those registered with ATF. This act also regulated both ammunition and magazines.[2] From 1934-2006, gun manufacturers had to produce new models every three years with new safety features and changes to regulations. Some key changes include: -introduction of an ambidextrous safety on many models (in 1936) -the addition of sound insulation on rifles (1938) -the introduction of threaded barrel Terminals into firearms (1939) -the development of plastic stocks (1946)

Easton is a town in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 21,083 at the 2010 census. Easton is home to the Easton Naval Air Station and the Bethlehem Steel Corporation mills. The first people to live in what is now Easton were Richard and Susannah Smith who arrived from England in 1751. They established a farmstead on what is now the eastern edge of town. The Smiths were followed by other pioneers such as John Dyson, Samuel Myrick and Benjamin Warner who all began agriculture in what is now Easton Township. In 1814, George Washington visited the area and made a speech at an encampment near present-day Academy Street and Springdale Road. This event helped spur development within the township as businesses began opening up along this stretch of road. In 1844, work began on building the Lehigh Railroad which would connect Philadelphia with Pittsburgh via Bethlehem Steel Corporation’s foundry located just east of town center today. soon after, businesses started popping up throughout downtown easton including one called “Shaw’s Brewery” which still stands to this day! By 1870, there were over 100 businesses operating in downtown easton! During World War II many residents of northeast Pa donated their time and skills to help with munitions production being done at nearby Scranton Arsenal though some homes also took part in that occupancy; making it one of most heavily bombed towns during that conflict! Today, downtown eastON retains its historic mix of architecture from prior eras as well as modern facilities such as Shaw’s Brewery (now defunct) which has been reborn as Pfeffer Brewing Company! Many locals still call downtown “the heart of eastON” due to its rich history & vibrancy!
Easton is a town in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania, located in the Beaver County area of the state's northeast corner. As of the 2010 census, the population was 9,611. The name "Easton" is from English settlers who called it Eastborough after their original homes in England were destroyed by fire in 1737. The first European settlement at Easton was made on July 4, 1681 by John Rutherford and his party as part of an effort to find a route to New York City through Canada. The group reached Easton about three weeks later and built a log cabin there. At that time, only about 10 people lived in what is now Easton Township and only two small parcels of land lay within present-day Beaver County limits
