Columbia was a small village in the county of Columbia, Pennsylvania, on the southern border of Huntingdon County. It was founded in 1798 by Captain John Armstrong and his family as a log cabin. In 1815, it became the seat of government for Huntingdon County. The town declined in popularity after World War II and fell into disrepair until it was abandoned in the early 1970s.
