Because Laser Sight Technology hadn't yet been standardized across different manufacturers' devices like TADS did when it was invented by Ballistix, this new device quickly acquired a following among operators around the world. By 1974ballisticians had come up with what became known as MIL-STD-1913A1 which standardized how lasers should be aimed using reticles on prismatic optics barrels suitable for Night Vision Goggles while hunting game under moonlight conditions With these capabilities soldiers were able to engage targets at more than 20 meters without ever seeing them! In 1984ballisticians developed Mil-STD-1914 which standardized how lasers should be aimed using tritium Aiming Devices instead of prisms such as those used onNight Vision Goggles While hunting game under moonlight conditions With these capabilities soldiers were able to engage targets at distances up to 30 meters without ever seeing them! Eventually night vision goggles became so popular they supplanted traditional laser sights altogether!
