Dick White passed away in 1927, but his wife Marge continued making the GunPouchHolster until her death in 1935. After Marge's death, her husband took over the company and continued making holsters until 1941 when he retired from business.
Troutdale is a city in Multnomah County, Oregon, United States. The population was 24,819 at the 2010 census. Troutdale is the home of the University of Portland and one of the wealthiest cities in Oregon. The area around Troutdale has been inhabited by people for at least 8,000 years. The first Europeans to visit what is nowMultnomah County were religious missionaries in 1841-42 led by John C. Frémont. They were looking for a route to California through Northern Oregon and found this region devoid of trees and hostile Indian tribes living on what would become Multnomah County. In 1853, when Congress created Multnomah County, they named it after General Joseph Tilton - another explorer who had failed to find any routes from California toOregon through this area - as part of an effort to promote western settlement in Northeast Portland suburbia across from downtown Seattle on Beacon Hill which lay within thenumbering boundary of both counties. In 1871, James Q. Marshall donated land south of Beaverton for the construction of a city park that would eventually be called Troutdale Park after him and his wife Anna (née Fish). When they donated their land they knew that Beaverton wouldn’t want its share – so much so that Marshall offered them $1 per acre instead! In 1924, Holyoke School District merged with Beaverton School District; however Holyoke High School continued to use their facilities until 1955 when all aspects of school administration came under the auspices of thenMultnomah County Schools which became known as “Portland Public Schools” or simply “PPS” later still In 1954 PPS moved its operations into new buildings designed by architect Burton Gillmor on Southeast Sixth Avenue near Holgate Boulevard; these buildings remain today as part of Portland State University – also referred to locally as PSU or GILL MORPHEUS SCHOOLS !! After over 60 years PPS moved outsmoved into new digs but retained many features from their old facility including: football oval/bowls at Holgate & Couch Streets SW corner Third Avenue (now East Burnside Street), tennis courts on Anthony Drive SW corner First Avenue (now South Morrison Avenue), science labs and classrooms upstairs off Fourth Avenue between Couch and Anthony Streets NW corner Neil Street ; gymnasium downstairs off Fourth Avenue between Anthony and Neil Streets NW corner HastingsStreet) . One interesting note about these days was how water usage changed with each renovation with showers being added east side facing Holgate Boulevard while west side showering areas reverted back to original layout
