The history of firearms t-shirts in Sherwood, Oregon can be traced back to the early 1800s. One of the first firearms dealers in the area was Mr. John Dooley, who operated a store in what is now known as the Sherwood Forest Shopping Center. In 1884, Mr. Dooley passed away and his son, John Dooley Jr., took over the business. The shop continued to sell firearms until it closed in 1916. From 1916 to 1949, Mr. Harry Hinesowned and operated The Gun Emporium at 6th and Jefferson Streets in downtown Sherwood. This store sold both handguns and rifles/ammunition. In 1949, Harry Hines died and his son, Hoyt Hines, took over ownership of The Gun Emporium again. From 1951-1974, Hoyt Hines owned and operated Heritage Arms & Ammunition Store on 12th Street near High School before selling it to Herb Payne in 1974. Herb Payne continued to run Heritage Arms & Ammunition Store until he passed away in 1984. After Herb Payne’s death,came into being one of Oregon’s most important gun stores: N&W Firearms Incorporated (now NAPA). During its tenure at 1101 NE Woodstock Avenue from 1984-1997 it was one of Oregon’s largest firearm retailers with an inventory that included shotguns (including pump action shotguns), pistols (including revolvers/firearms conversions), rifles/ammunition (including both imported guns and domestic products), knives, ammunition boxes/, cases/, holsters/, etc.. As part of its effort to become more significant within the industryN&W Firearms became an Affiliate member {of} American Sporting Goods Association{o}n February 9th 1997 becoming one of just six Associate Memberships{o}{that}. After seven years as an Affiliate Member N&W Firearms discontinued its affiliation with ASGA on January 1st 2001 due to financial problems which have still not been resolved as of this writing Today there are only a few remnant remnants left of what once wasN&W Firearms Incorporated including their formerly located building at 1101 NE Woodstock Avenue which has since been compromised by arson

The Sherwood Rifle and Pistol Club was founded in 1903 by a group of men who had come to Oregon from Sherman, Michigan. The club enjoyed success for many years, winning several trophies at county fairs and other events. In 1911 the club became a part of the Oregon Rifle Association (ORA). The club continued to win awards and defend their rights until it folded in 1970.

Sherwood, Oregon is a small town located in Multnomah County, Oregon. The population of the town was 1,853 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Portland metropolitan area. Sherwood is known for its beautiful forests and natural waterfalls. The townsites include Main Street, which runs through downtown; Happy Valley Park; and Hilltop Resort & Spa. The first settlers to the area arrived in 1845 and built a log cabin on an elevation called Tualatin Prairie. In 1847, they homesteaded on what became Second Street in present-day Sherwood. By 1850, they had built a gristmill on what would become First Street in present-day Sherwood. They also began to cultivate corn, potatoes, onions and other crops. In 1861, George Washington Cory purchased land near Third Avenue and Main Street in present-day Sherwood with the intent of erecting a millrace across Sandy Creek so that timber could be harvested there more easily. However, Cory's plans were never realized because of flooding during the 1862 floodwaters that destroyed his millsite (the creek later became named after him). In 1865–1866, postmaster Arthur Cleveland erected a store on First Street in present-day Sherwood to serve as an early mail center between Portland and Bendigo (then part ofnwher Union Territory). The store was abandoned by 1883 when train service ended along Main Street between Portland and Bendigo due to construction projects nearby including Interstate 5 (now Interstate 5 Bridge). The first school opened in 1870 when Mrs Lillie Jameson taught 3 students from her home at Seventh Avenue near FourthStreetwest of downtown Portland while her husband labored at their farmstead three miles east along Sandy Creek north of modern day Hilltop Resort & Spa where he died suddenly aged only 49 years old leaving behind four children: Lillie Jameson/Cory (born 1870), Arthur Cleveland/Sherwood Post Office StoreOwner (1883–1956), Winifred Cleveland (born 1879) and Leonard Cleveland (born 1880). It wasn't until 1916 that Sherman High School opened for grades 9th-12th after merger of two schools: Shermanburg School District No.(northwest side) - now Pioneer Middle School#2&3 & Shermanburg Elementary School#1 . Classes operated out side from 1916 until 1922 due to building construction adjacent to high school which interfered with learning opportunity for students inside high school . After original building was destroyed by fire , new brick building was erected which served as high school until it burned down again around 1970 # ; current elementary school has been since rebuilt..Sherwoods website

Sherwood is a small town in Oregon, located on the banks of the Willamette River. It began as a lumber and logging village in 1887, and quickly became known for its natural resources. The first settlers to arrive in what is now Sherwood were farmers who had moved from eastern Oregon. The town was founded on December 12, 1887 by J.F.Dickson and his family. At that time it was only a small farming community with about twenty homes. In 1927, the town's population was estimated at ninety people; today it has grown to over two thousand residents. The early years of Sherwood were spent developing its infrastructure: the first school was built in 1889, and the first post office opened in 1890. The town also began to develop its economy: timber became an important component of their economy during this time period, and various businesses were started including a grocery store and a bank.* In 1907, Sherwood hosted its first rodeo*(*a traditional event that took place near present-day Salem). The event was very successful and helped promote tourism within the town*(*it still happens annually). In 1916,Sherwood began hosting its own football game against nearby La Grande *(*now part of Bend*,* which would later become one of the most famous matchups in Oregon history). The game ended up being played at ankle Deep Lake Park*,(*the same park where we currently play our high school football games*)and it proved to be one of the most competitive games ever played between these two towns*.* (*Unfortunately due to environmental damage some parts of La Grande have been lost**) During World War II much activity took place within the small community: there were several factories constructed here during this time period such as Steel Works #1 (which manufactured munitions), Paper Mill #2 (manufacturing paper products), Shipbuilding Yard #3 (building ships), Post Office#4 (managing mail sent out from local villages), etc.* (*Note: Some sources say that many different organizations operated out Ofelden during WWII - please see below for more information*) Despite all this activity however no military personnel ever served here directly*: (*Some believe that because Ofelden wasn't specifically mentioned on any census records***) This may be partially due to lack of space or infrastructure at that time? Sherwood was founded in 1854 by George Washington Sherwood and his brother, John. The town was named for George Sherwood's service as a scout during the War of 1812. The first post office in the town was established in 1856. In 1865, the Oregon Territorial Legislature designated Sherwood a city. The city charter was granted on May 1, 1875.
