A new library/theatre opened in 2006 on campus across from the primary gymnasium/. To commemorate its 50th anniversary in 2006, Roseburg conducted a city-wide referendum vote authorizing spending of $5 million over five years on various redevelopment projects including: new streetlights and sidewalk repair; expansion of parking lots adjacent to Memorial Stadium; renovation of several retail properties within walking distance of Campus; installation of new water fixtures throughout park complexes bordering Memorial Stadium; addition of ramps leading up to Memorial Stadium from southbound Interstate 5) Today's Roseburg economy primarily revolves around education with many businesses specializing in student services such as counselors and advisors for counseling sessions or SAT prep courses; restaurant chains such as Wendy's World Headquarters anchors much of downtown ; arts & entertainment options include four theater venues – one with 2200 seats that can seat up to 350 people each night ; numerous small businesses provide goods & services related to food production or service industries .
