Since 2000, much redevelopment has taken place within downtown Roseburg around Fourth Street NW which has resulted in new restaurants, a movie theater complex called Regal Cinemas Plus (formerly Regal Cinema), an event space called Odyssey Ballroom & Live Music Hall (opened 2008), and a new homeless shelter/housing project called Gateway Village that opened late last year adjacent to First United Methodist Church on First Avenue NW
