The first rifles imported into the Portland area were purchased by Chief Washakie Parker in 1855. In 1856, Major John McLaughlin organized a group of Danish riflemen who came to Oregon with their new weapon, the Krag-Jorgensen Rifle. This weapon was designed by Nicolai Pettersson and became well known throughout Scandinavia after being introduced there in 1856. It featured a single shot action with a long barrel that could fire up to 10 rounds per minute. The Krag-Jorgensen Rifle was soon adopted by the United States Army as part of the US Military Academy at West Point during the Civil War era. In 1889, Majestic Arms Company began manufacturing firearms in what would become Redmond pioneer Chet Holmgaard’s home town on Cherry Street NW until his death in 1957. During his lifetime he manufactured over 250 different firearms including shotguns, pistols, rifles and handguns – all made right here in redmondOregon! Some of his most famous weapons include the Model 1903 Springfield rifle which served as America’s standard infantry gun during World War II and later variants such as Colt Commando pistols (1948) – both now considered collectibles! His son Mikkel Holmgaard continued production until his death in 1984; making him one of Redmonds longest running firearm manufacturers!

On February 17th 1861, it became part of the newly formed City Of Portland which at that time had a population over 100 000 people and grew rapidly with annexation by other larger municipalities such as Seattle and Salem before finally annexing to Seattle on April 5th 1959 when its total population exceeded 200 000 people for the first time ever! The growth continued with annexations to Everett on November 27th 1961; Vancouver on January 1st 1967; Lynnwood on May 21st 1976; Bellevue Heights on October 25th 1984; Deschutes Falls Borough Parkon November 2nd 1989; Nacheshee Creek Township Annexation March 14th 1992 joining Redmond proper forming a single municipality with a total population over 300 000! In 2002 Microsofts new headquarters were built just outside downtown Redmond giving rise to much speculation about what would become future home for this giant tech company but no concrete plans have emerged yet !!!

After World War II ended, many NATO countries began importuning America for new combat arms so they could replace their aging artillery pieces including shoulder stocks made specifically for those weapons! The USP45 Carbine was one such weapon which saw service in several NATO countries before finally being adopted by our military in 1987! Overall, rifle stocks have been used throughout history in various conflicts varying in intensity and location; however, they always retain their importance today thanks to their ability to enhance rifle accuracy potentialities far beyond what any other item on a soldier’s kit could ever hope to achieve!

The town also became home to a large number of families who worked in agriculture or other businesses. In 1906, Redmond appointed its first mayor and beginning that year, led the city through significant growth and development which included construction of several new neighborhoods including North Redmond and South Redmond. By 1920, when it merged with neighboring Salem to form Portland, Redmond had become one of Oregon's most prosperous cities with a population over 100,000 people. Its stature as an important cultural center has only grown since then; for example, its annual International Folklore Festival is now one of the largest folk festivals in North America.

The Redmonds were the first white people to settle in what is now Redmond, and they built a small town on the edge of their farmstead.
