Pendleton is a town in Columbia County, Oregon, United States. The population was 5,841 at the 2010 census. Pendleton is part of the Portland metropolitan area. Thanks also to Fenton’s generosity many families discovered this thriving little town for themselves - making it oneida day view spot! During prohibition days there were even more visitors because locals could buy liquor without getting arrested! Although sales have decreased somewhat since then (mainly dueto increased competition from larger cities) business continues along Main Street throughout most weeksdays 7am-10pm except for special occasions like Christmas or Thanksgivingwhen hours are reduced slightly so that everyone can get together!'

The area now included Pendleton County was part of the Mexican Empire until it was overthrown in 1848, and then became part of the United States following its independence from Mexico. The town of Pendleton was founded by Captain James H. Morrison in 1851, and soon became a center for wagon traffic on the Oregon Trail. In 1862, Pendleton residents voted to become an incorporated city, and the city prospered until 1911 when it merged with neighboring Bend to form the current city of Bend.
