Beckelman began sellingTarget Holder No. 1 which was a metal tube with a screw on top that allowed you to hold the target at an angle for shooting. Target holders became popular in Oregon because they allowed shooters to shoot from different angles and distances than using a traditional shotgun grip or rifle hand held grip

The province also has significant renewable resources such as coal, oil sands (a type of oil sands), natural gas reserves, lumberjacks (one of Canada’s top industries), dairy farmers (the second-largest suppliers of milk to Canadians), horticulture (fruit trees especially), Angus beef production (positioned at one end of Canada’s Great Western Plains) as well as tourism activities related to skiing/mountaineering/horseback riding/bathing/canoeing etc.

In 1853, Oregon became a part of the United States of America. This event was significant because it made Oregon one of the first states in the Union to be admitted as a country. In 1850, when California was admitted to the Union, Oregon followed suit and became a part of the new state. Oregon has had a rich history since it became part of the United States. The area that now makes up Oregon was originally inhabited by Native Americans who called it Toutatis (meaning "the land where men can live"). They used this area for hunting, fishing, and gathering resources. After four years of war with Mexico, President James K. Polk named Toutatis Provisional District No. 3 in February 1846 to include all present-day Oregon Territory west of the Columbia River including what is now Multnomah County and most of today's Portland County (except for about 2/3rds of Salem). The region that would become known as Oregon was broken into many small villages or towns until 1800 when squatters began arriving seeking grazing rights on newly traveled trails leading from California overland to British Columbia (then Canada). From here they started building homes and stores near their herds and ranches while also exploring new routes across Central America through what is now Arizona and New Mexico before finally reaching The Great Basin area around Boise Bay in Idaho in 1848. These newcomers brought plants, animals, water supplies, tools, goldfields were discovered at Siltanen Creek in central Washington State soon after but no one realized how important this would be until later when transportation methods improved allowing people to travel further eastward into Nevada Territory which included much today’s eastern border with Idaho and parts more recent additions like Coeur d’Alene County located just east of Salmon City on Snake River Canyon foothills) Oregon Territorial Legislature voted October 3RD 1855 to secede from US & enter into Treaty Of Fort Laramie with USGovt; Signed Sept 10th 1860 #OregonRepublic
In 1853, the Oregon Territory was created from parts of California and Nevada. The territory's first governor, John C. Fremont, approved the creation of a new state on July 4, 1853. Oregon became a U.S. state on February 14, Deschutes County was formed in accordance with this decision, and Bend was designated as its capital. On April 12 of that year, the first General Court meeting in Oregon took place at the newly built State Capitol Building in Bend.
