In 1984, NFI was sold to American Outdoor Brands (AOBC) for $1 million dollars. Milwaukie is a city in Southern Oregon, located on the Willamette River. The population was 17,711 at the 2010 census. It is the largest city in and the county seat of Benton County. On January 1st 1915 Captain Harry Silliman relieved Captains James Wickersham (commanding USS Seattle) and George Vancouver (HMS Discovery) while en route to take possession of Puget Sound Naval Station after its purchase from Russia by President Wilson during World War I; both ships stopped at anchor outside town limits near Pioneer Square before continuing onriver until reaching their destination just north of downtown Portland about 9 miles upstream from where they started As part of World War II USAAF activity undertaken along Interstate 5 between Portland and SpokanePNR military airfields were constructed adjacent to town: Dowell Airfield northwest/northeastof town, Wheeler Airfield south/southeastof town,and McCoy Airfield west/southwestof town - these sites are now all gone except for Scott Air Force Base which occupies part of Dowell Field site . On February 19th 1945 Japanese planes bombed Pearl Harbor killing more than hundred people including many Americans living near Edmonds AFB southeast corner Of Town & Airport - this event is generally known as Pearl Harbor Attack .
