Mcminnville is a small city in Oregon, located on the Rogue River. It was founded by General George A. Custer and his unit of the 7th Cavalry Regiment in 1879. The city was named for Mc Minn, an Indian chief who had been killed during the Indian Wars. The population of Mcminnville was 1,871 at the 2010 census. The local post office opened in 1881, and served until it closed in 1964. In 1906, a Carnegie Library was built in Mc minnville and it remains one of the city's most valuable assets. After World War II, many factories and businesses moved to Mcminnville from other parts of Oregon; however, only two have still remained; Big Beaver Glass Company and Weyerhaeuser Incorporated. Nowadays, most of the businesses have relocated or gone out of business while one still remains - Big Beaver Glass Company has become a museum company preserving memories from past glass manufacturing days in Mcminnville Today's economy is based largely on tourism thanks to its natural beauty as well as its rich history which can be seen throughout the community including sites like Fort Rock (the location where General Custer staged his last battle) and Beavers Dam National Recreation Area which offers fishing opportunities both upstream and downstream from town limits There are also several professional sports teams that play their games within town limits such as the Oregon Ducks football team (home stadium: Memorial Stadium), Portland Timbers soccer team (PDX Park), Salem-Keizer girls high school basketball team (Stadium Drive), and more recent additions Spokane Chiefs AFL football team playing out of Spokane Valley University Stadium which seats over 10,000 people . There are also several small businesses that provide services within town limits like general store/grocery store/cafeteria etc.; but unlike larger towns with multiple storefronts each serving a variety of customers these businesses tend to cluster together around main square near post office

The Lazarus system employed three 8x28mm Cooke reflector lensed objectives mounted on a T-shaped tube (pictured). It was this early development that gavegun lasers their name - from the Greek word meaning "to see well."

The bombings destroyed many homes and businesses, but also caused significant damage to infrastructure such as roads and bridges. After the war, Mcminnville experienced a period of decline which began in the 1960s. In recent years, however, there has been renewed interest in the community due to its unique history and architecture.
In 1853, a group of farmers from Mcminnville founded the town of Mcminnville on the side of the hills overlooking the Willamette River. The town was named in honor of Commodore James H. McIntosh, who led an army against Spanish forces in 1846. The original inhabitants were farmers and their families, but by 1870, the population had grown to over 100 people. In 1880, a post office was established in Mcminnville, and soon after, it became a center for wagon trade and freight delivery between Oregon and Washington. By 1890, Mcminnville had become an important commercial hub for the region. The town continued to grow until World War II when it all but disappeared due to wartime bombings and construction projects. Today, remnants of Mcminnville remain as a small community located around Willamette Valley National Forest.
