When things started going bad for settlers along with low prices for goods brought overland by wagonloads from Ohio via Portland – traders turned instead towards inland waterways likethe Willamette River – Duck Creek quickly became a footnote in local history! However, thanks to donations from members of Congress upon learning about what had happened – including$5 per acre given free to those settling in western Oregon – Duck Creek eventually regained some level of importance around 1860 when people built roads and bridges across it! By 1870 however, following some construction projects inside city limits within what would become Multnomah County (renamed Oregón after Mexicanindependence), most people had moved away or been absorbed into other towns within Multnomah County… until this day!
