As a result of this amendment,many citizens decided that they no longer wanted their handguns or rifles stored inside their homes because they could no longer be sure that they would not be confiscated if they were caught using them in public! As a result of these events,gunowners throughout Happy Valley started storing their firearms outside of their homes rather than inside Their homes! This move away from traditional handgun storage helped protect our community against any potential confiscation issues should such an event occur again in the future! Since 1968,happy valley has seen several changes happen with regards to firearms ownership including: In 2013-2014 there was an increase in shootings across Oregon due largelyto problems caused by mental illness; however gun owners responded with GUN FESTIVAL 2014 which brought NRA members & others into town for parade/range practice; this led then Mayor Tom Reitzel (D)to declare October “Gun Month” In 2016-2017 following multiple shootings at peace rallies around state—mainly near Eugene—Oregon legislators introduced two bills making it easier for law enforcement officers To buy assault rifles without going through background checks; one bill died before passage while another survived committee review but did not make it out of committee before being killed by Governor Kate Brown In 2018 Governor Brown signed HB 2122 into law increasing criminal penalties for carrying Concealed Weapons permit holders without proper training
