Grant Pass, Oregon is an agricultural and forestry town in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. The population was 9,819 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Portland-Vancouver-Sydney metropolitan area. Grant Pass lies on the southern slopes of Mount Hood, one of the most popular tourist destinations in Oregon. The first people to live in Grant Pass were Native Americans who hunted deer and other game in the area now known as Grants Pass. In 1847, a group of men from British Columbia started a gold rush in what is now Oregon and discovered large deposits of gold near present-day Grants Pass. By 1850, over 100 people were working in Grants Pass; by 1870 there were 1,500 residents living in Grants Pass alone. In 1871, Congress passed an act creating the United States Forest Service to manage National Forests across America. This gave rise to many small towns around American Forests that grew up around logging and mining operations within their boundaries. One such town was GrantPass where lumber companies built sawmills, mines and other infrastructure necessary for production. During World War II, GrantPass played a vital role as an airfield for fighter planes from nearby Portland Airport. Aftermath of World War II left much destruction throughout Northwest America including GrantPass which was largely spared because it lay undeveloped at that time However after 1960 many new homes were constructed just outside of town limits with little regard for historical or cultural significance

These innovative devices changed rifle design forever because they allowed snipers and long range targets alike To attain precision shots without havingto rely upon jigs or templates!
The history of expandable mounts starts with the original Ottoman-era "turban" mount, which allowed soldiers to place their weapons in a variety of different directions. Grant Pass has been inhabited by Native Americans for over 3,000 years and became a town in 1879. The first post office was founded in 1875 and the first settler was John Riddle who built a cabin on the banks of the Willamette River and named it Grant Pass after his father-in-law, General George Washington Custer. Grant Pass grew slowly until it gained national attention when two parties of protesters traveled there to disrupt an agricultural fair on May 10, 1969. A group from Portland had also gone to attend but were thwarted by local police reservation men present at the event and were arrested instead. This event helped boost Grants Pass' economy as tourists arrived to see what had happened near their home base ofPortland. In 1990, construction began on a new downtown courthouse which opened in 1992. Today, Grants Pass remains an important center for agriculture with its own markets and Processing Company which processes food products for more than 100 stores across North America
