In Forest Grove, Oregon, there are many gun grips that date back to the early 1800s. One of the first guns in Forest Grove was a muzzleloader called The Gun Catcher. It was made by John Kapp and sold around 1805. In 1835, Forest Grove residents voted to have a rifle range opened in town. The first target shoot took place on December 12th, 1835. From this day forward, rifles would be used at the rifle range instead of handguns. The first pistols were also created in Forest Grove. These pistols were called Pistol Puffs and they were made by Copley & Richardson from 1855-1857. Over time, different companies started making firearms in Forest Grove including Smith & Wesson (1868), Colt (1870), and Winchester (1874). After World War I ended, many citizens left for California but some stayed behind and started businesses such as Hardware Store #4 which still exists today and Handgun Saloon which closed in 1978 but is now part of the Knight Center for Business Innovation . Gun grips continue to be made here today with varying levels of quality control and accuracy. Some gun grips are actually quite old while others date back only a few years ago!

Forest Grove is a town in Yamhill County, Oregon, United States. The population was 5,811 at the 2010 census. forestGrove is home to many businesses and services that contribute to its economic growth. The town's newest attraction - the Forest Grove Amphitheater - opened in 2014. The first people to live in Forest Grove were the Klamath Indian Tribe. They came from nearby Mount Hood and founded what is now Forest Grove on November 12, 1847. At that time there was no way for them to get here so they had to build their own path by swimming across Trout Creek and walking overland. In 1853, when Congress passed the Pacific Northwest Territory Act, they designated it as part of Oregon Territory. This made Forest Grove an official town with its own government and tax system which lasted until 1907 when Yamhill County was created from part of Oregon Territory and became an independent county with its own government again. The original church in Forest Grove was built in 1851 by Methodist missionaries named James Sargent and his wife Jane Covington Sargent on land donated by John Aspinwall (an early settler). It served as a prayer meeting house until 1855 when a new church was built next door which became known as First Presbyterian Church because it was the first brick church erected in Oregon Territory. In 1886–87 construction began on what is now called Second Presbyterian Church which replaced the old structure due to fire damage only four years later! In 1907 Third Presbyterian Church also replaced the old building after a fire destroyed most of it including some of the bell towers! - There are two theories about how First Presbyterian Church got its name: One theory says that while they were prepping for services one day a large group of men from Portland walked into First Presbyterian asking who preached there; another story says that one night after supper lady Jane Sargent asked her husband if he would please lead her leaders in singing "A Mighty Fortress" before retiring for prayers; James Sargent agreed and led them in singing instead! First PresbyterianChurch still stands today!

The first documented inhabitants of what would become Forest Grove were Native Americans who traveled along the riverbank to trade goods with settlers living downstream. In 1877, Christian Herrin established himself as a farmer in what would become Forest Groves while another settler named John Barnes developed properties east of present-day downtown on what is now Bank Street. In 1899, Father Richard Juhl arrived from Germany to found Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Forest Groves - one of Northwest Oregon's earliest religious communities. In 1949, after years of discussion between Portland Mayor Tom McCallum and City Councilor Neil McFarlane, Forest Grooves merged with neighboring city of Beaverton to form Portland's second largest municipality by population size – just behind Vancouver – following a vote by residents in both cities over two days in February 1948. At that time, Beaverton had about 60 percent of thePopulation compared to ForestGroves' mere 2 percent; however, due to its larger size it began developing services such as social welfare programs which made it more viable as an organizational entity than its smaller neighbor over time culminating with amalgamation intoPortland proper on January 1st 1970 through annexation by Multnomah County (the county at that time). Since then much has changed within our very small community: new businesses have opened up since we've been annexed intoPortland; people have moved here for different reasons; but most importantly our hearts have stayed true to each other - no matter how far away we may be! Downtown has seen some explosive growth recently thanks to redevelopment efforts spearheaded by REICO Development LLC., but many old buildings remain standing testament to our long history together as a community... [and] there are plans underway for even more development downriver!
