In 1922, an additional Optical Shop was opened at 12th & Washington Streets in northwest Eugene by Mr. Satterlee with help from his brother-in-law Harry Eagar who had also started an optician business in 1921 out of his home on Capitol Hill Place Northeast in downtown Eugene. The Optical Shop continued to be operated by Satterlee until his death in 1946; however, Eagar continued to operate the shop's entire inventory until he too passed away in 1957.]]
