Gun hammers have been a part of Oregonian culture for over 200 years. In fact, the gun hammer was even mentioned in an early Oregon history book as one of the tools used by pioneer farmers. Rifle hammers and other tool hammers became popular in the late 1800s when guns began to be manufactured in larger numbers in Oregon. One such innovative gunsmith who came up with this solution was George Wurtzel of Coos Bay. He designed a hammer which could be attached directly to the frame using four roundwire staples that passed through slots on either side of the hammer head. This allowed for quick installation and removal of barrels without having to remove the entire weapon from its stock or cartmounting it onto a workbench like many otherhammer attachment methods at that time.Wurtzel's Hammer Attachment System (HAS) was eventually adopted by most firearms manufacturers across America during World War I because it allowed them to quickly produce weapons with fewer repairs required after each battle. Coos Bay, Oregon is a town located in the Columbia River Gorge in western Oregon. In 1907, Coos Bay hosted the Northwest Fair which helped promote tourism in the region. By 1912, when World War I started, much of Oregon was under military occupation and many people left Coos Bay for military jobs or other opportunities elsewhere. However, thanks to wartime production quotas, much of what had been built during those difficult years eventually collapsed due to lack of demand – including Coos Bay’s hospital which closed down in 1944 after serving patients for over fifty years! In recent decades however, things have begun to change; starting with an influx of new immigrants in the late 1990s who brought their culture and language with them when they moved here from other parts of North America. This has led to increased business activity and more attention being given to cultural attractions like art galleries and pubs that are located near Coos Bay’s dockside promenade where people can enjoy views of Puget Sound while sipping coffee or eating pastries from local cafes overlooking downtown. According to government reports released last year,[1] between 2009-2013[2], spending by tourists visitingCoosaBay grew by 46%. This growth has created some challenges for locals such as increased traffic congestion on nearby highways but also means more people are coming into town which could lead eventuallyto increased economic development especially if plans are made for further expansion beyond just tourism!
