In 1892, Central Point was the site of a gun Trigger Massacre. Ten men were killed by a group of gunmen who took hostages in the town. The event is thought to be the first mass shooting in Oregon.

Central Point is a small city located in Multnomah County, Oregon. The population was 1,711 as of the 2010 census. It is the seat of Multnomah County and home to the only University of Portland campus in Oregon. The central business district of Central Point includes downtown, Three Rivers Park, and several smaller neighborhoods. The first settlement in Central Point was made by Captain John McLoughlin in 1828 on land he had purchased from the local natives. He named his new town after himself and founded a trading post there called "McLoughlin's Station." In 1851, General Robert S. Scott took over control of Fort Vancouver and decided to move its garrison to Central Point instead of nearby Salem because it was closer to supplies and easier for him to stay informed about events across the country. By 1860, most of what is now Multnomah County had been annexed by Oregon; Central Point remained under federal ownership until 1865 when it became part of the newly created Portland District. In 1862, Central Point's first school opened with nine students; it later grew into a four-year college that graduated its first class in 1875. After years of struggle against competition from more established universities such as Portland State and Washington College (now Mount Hood Community College), Central Point became one of the founding members (along with Vancouver School District #2)of the Northwest Association for Higher Education in 1889; this organization promoted education within Northwest Territory boundaries up through 1912 when all public higher education came under state jurisdiction. An important development at Centralpoint during these early years was an effort by J R Pendleton to improve transportation access between Portland and Seattle via a road he built southeast from town along Willamette River Gorge National Monument boundary line northward into Canada where he discovered resources worth $1 million dollars per year being mined belowsea level near Prince Rupert Island – making this project one which helpedpromote growth throughout much of northwestern America during that time period! In 1893 (the same year as UPI’s founding), Dr Wm E Gifford became Headmaster at Centralpoint Academy which soon evolved into our present day University Of Portland! As Headmaster at TPAC I also started construction on our current Main Quadrangle building which has since been renamed “Drummond Hall” after my predecessor Mr Drummond who dedicated his life completely to developing opportunities for students both academically AND athletically! One significant event during my tenure occurred when I inaugurated Theophilus Hocking as Principal–the first African American educator ever hired full-time at TPAC! With so many accomplishments achieved during my time here at TPAC I am proudto be able to say we have raised standards continuously since those early days!

Trigger mechanisms were used in a variety of weaponry from spears to handguns, and have been featured in many movies and video games. Trigger mechanisms can be simple or more complex, but all share one common goal - causing the firearm to fire. Trigger mechanisms vary in their construction and how they are triggered. Some triggers are activated by pulling on an arm or hand-guard that is attached to the firearm frame; others are triggered by pushing a button on the rifle or handgun's grip. There are also electronic trigger systems that allow you to fire the weapon without any input from your hands. Some of the oldest trigger mechanisms date back to China's Tang Dynasty (618-904). The Tang Dynasty was known for its intricate engineering feats, including several gun triggers which used metal discs asiruption devices. The use of trigger mechanisms in firearms began to decline during the Qing Dynasty (1712-1912), which was ruled by Manchu dynasty rebels. By the late 1800s, most firearms had been replaced with manually operated weapons.

Central Point was founded in 1875 by Captain George Washington Beechey. It became a town in 1907 and then a city in 1912. Central Point is located on the Willamette River, about 30 miles (48 km) southeast of Portland. The population of Central Point was 54,163 in 2010. The site for Central Point was chosen because it offered good water and land resources, as well as access to the river and other resources. The first settlement at Central Point was built on the north bank of the Willamette River, about 1 mile (1.6 km) south of present-day Central Park. At first, the settlers were mostly farmers who grew food for local consumption and export to other states. However, over time they began to build up businesses such as flour mills and tinsmiths. In 1875, Captain George Washington Beechey organized what would become known as the Oregon Trail Company to prosecute the trail from California to Oregon. The company had two goals: To help people survive during their journey and to make money so that more people could follow along with them. In addition to building roads and bridges, Beechey also started an academy for young men called Beechey School which still exists today as a high school near downtown Central Point. When Oregon became a state in 1859, most of what is now British Columbia was part of Canada; however, much of central Oregon remained unincorporated territory until 1907 when it joined centralOregon into one municipality under then-Mayor Atherton Hastings Goodall’s leadership After World War I ended with America’s entry into World War II, demand for goods manufactured by war-time economy increased due largely to post-war reconstruction efforts throughout North America As new industries began emerging in postwar America—in particular information technology—CentralPoint saw its share increase as well With rapid growth came increasing social complexity; this led Mayor Goodall’s office to focus increasingly on economic development rather than environmental protection or public services By 1990 less than 10 percent of all property assessed at $1 million or more lived within city limits; but nearly 60 percent of all employment occurred within city limits Today City Hall resides inside a newly designed mixed-use redevelopment district east off Interstate 5 known locally simply as “Centralpoint”
Central Point was founded by Captain George Vancouver in 1795. It became a town in 1843. The Oregon Territory was formed in 1848, and Central Point became the first town in it. The town had a population of about 1,000 people when it lost its charter in 1854.
