Canby is a town in central Oregon, United States. It was founded in 1876 by Don Carlos Canby and his wife Eliza. Hurlbut, two employees of the Oregon Central Railroad. Canby's first post office opened in October 1876; it was renamed Canby on December 3 that year after the town's founder.
