Cotton prices also rose during that time so many families decided to stay put and enjoy good times while they could. Most residents today live within walking distance of either local businesses or school Districts which offer quality education for children throughout grades K-12 as well as opportunities for outdoor activities such as skiing, hunting and fishing available year-round

However, its popularity eventually diminished after World War II because firearms began becoming more accurate and easier to load with modern ammo. Modern magazines are still used today because they provide much greater capacity than traditional or O-ringed magazines - even allowing up to 20 rounds inside them!

However, after the oil boom came to Oklahoma during the 1970s and 1980s, business slowed down significantly in Weatherford. Today, much of what was once an active community has been annihilated by development or destroyed by hurricanes or other natural disasters.
In 1896, Weatherford was founded as a small town by parents who were looking for a place to raise their children. The town grew rapidly and by 1907, it had a population of over 900 people. In 1915, the first post office in Weatherford was opened. In 1937, the first high school in Weatherford was built. The growth of the town led to the construction of several more hospitals and other businesses during the early years of this century. By 1960, weatherford had reached its peak population with over 2,500 people living there. However, due to economic difficulties and decreasingresidential prices throughout most of the 1970s and 1980s, the population gradually declined until it reached its current level in 2000.
