Other buildings dating back to earlier times include a large mill built in 1881 by James Sutherlin which still stands today adjacent to Interstate 44; Mohawk Baptist Church built in 1902 - it remains one of only two churches remaining standing from early Tulsan architecture; and Wheeler Opera House opened in 1913 which also remains extant today on South Union Street next door to OKC Community College.
