In 1948, The Cowboy Slings Company merged with another company to form United States Sling & Ammo Co., Incorporated (USAS&A). USAS&A would continue to produce various types of gun slings until it ceased operations in 1984. During their time on the market, USAS&A sold over 50 different models of sling products!

This club supplied ammo to local hunters and shooters. 3) In 1978, the Sapulpa Rifle & Pistol Club changed its name to the Sapulpa Shotgun Association. The association continued to provide shotguns and ammo to local hunters and shooters until 1992. 4) In 1993, the Sapulpah Rifle & Pistol Club was disbanded due to lack of membership.
Sapulpa is a small city located in the southeastern corner of Oklahoma, on the edge of the Tulsa metropolitan area. It occupies a triangular shape bounded by Interstate 35 to the east, County Road 24W to the west, and State Highway 169 to the north. The population was 9,894 at the 2000 census, making it one of the fastest-growing towns in Oklahoma. The town began as a cattle station and saw its first settlers in 1875. Sapulpa was founded by Methodist missionaries who named it for a swamp near their own home in Texas. In 1907, Sapulpa became an incorporated town with a population of 581. The town's growth accelerated during World War II when residents built barracks for military personnel and defense plants along I-35. In 1957, Sapulpa was selected as the site for what would become Tulsa's new airport; construction began that year and completed two years later. As Tulsa's largest city grew around it, Sapulpas gradually lost its importance as an agricultural center until finally becoming an urban district in 1974 when Tulsa annexed it into its city limits.
