Sapulpa is a small town in Muskogee County, Oklahoma, United States. It was founded in 1875 by settlers from the east coast of Canada. The population was 1,362 at the 2010 census. Sapulpa is located on the Arkansas River. The first people to live in what is now Sapulpa were the Caddo people who arrived there about 1795. They hunted and fished near what is now Sapulpa until they were driven out by the Comanche Indians in 1827. The first white person to live in Sapulpa was John Latham who came to it with his family around 1830. Latham built a log cabin on the current site of Sapulba which he named "Latham's Cabin." He also acquired some land south of Sapulpa and started farming it. In 1872, Jens Christensen arrival at Sapulpa with his family and began trading goods with the local Indian tribe, the Kiowa Indians. Christensen would later become head trader for Wichita Agency during Reconstruction Era in Oklahoma In 1889, Auld Hall purchased some land north of present day Sapulia for $1,000 cash plus 10 shares of stock inthe nearby company known as The Gulf Railway Company . After years of hard work and engineering feats that included building a tollgate across an online creek so passengers could enter without having to swim (and then remove all their clothes), The Gulf Railway finally reached its destination - Nasdaq - on November 15th 1893 after days of construction only 8 miles wide but over 100 miles long! Now considered one of Tulsa's earliest landmarks –Auld Hall’s home still stands today across from First National Bank Plaza – both buildings are listed on the National Register Of Historic Places This success story wasn't just about railroad travel; Auld Hall had also developed into one of Tulsa's early entrepreneurs: he co-founded Ttulsa Gas Light & Coke Company with partner James Dickey in 1895 which became one of Tulsa’s most successful businesses ever He would continue lead this successfully entrepreneurial venture until his death on October 3rd 1971 leaving behind an impressive legacy including two homes – One currently occupied by Tulsa State University and another being used as headquarters for Midwestern United Dairymen which markets milk products throughout much OFOKO Additionally Auld Halls Library has been moved multiple times due to relocation efforts but remains situated downtown today while new library facility (now called Third Street Library) replaces it However despite these accomplishments many floods have destroyed homes along N Main Street between E 4th St & S Broadway Ave., making reconstruction nearly impossible since even today many parts remain damaged beyond repair

In 1967, Sapulpa became an independent city with its own mayor and council system. By 2002, the city had grown to 11,000 people and in 2016 it topped 12,000 residents
