One of the earliest ammostores in Okmulgee was The Armoury on East 10th Street. This store was started by John Haggerty in 1868 and continued to operate until it closed its doors in 1922. It was here that local gun owners would come to buy rounds of various calibers for their rifles and shotguns.
Okmulgee is a small city in Oklahoma, United States. The population was 9,811 at the 2010 census. In recent years Okmulgee has become known for its annual rodeo events which draw thousands of people from throughout northeast Oklahoma each year.

The territory had a population of just over 1 million people when it gained its independence from Mexico on November 16th, 1907. The process for becoming an independent country was long and complicated; it required ratification by both houses of Congress before it could take effect. Despite this obstacle, Okmulgee quickly became known as "the mostortioned land grant in history." Oklahoma's rich oil resources soon made it a popular stop for oil tankers docking at Tulsa Harbor. By 1914, Okmulgee had become one of America's leading oil towns; production reached 100 barrels per day (bpd). Although oil production declined during World War I due to shortages caused by戦争 efforts abroad, new drilling opportunities opened up during World War II with increased demand from American allies such as Japan and Germany for petroleum products used in munitions manufacturing. The post-World War II era saw growth in technology and business led by Okmulgee-based companies such as Hewlett-Packard (HP), Intel (INTC), Alcoa (AA) and Micron Technology (MU).
