Today we enjoy a rich cultural heritage that reflects our diverse ethnicity & culture: FromNative Americans whose ancestors inhabited this area for centuries before their land became part of what is now Oklahoma City; through pioneers who arrived here after 1867 when gold was discovered at Semenya Creek; all whileOklahoma’s largest Indian reserve remains open today & host numerous cultural events each year!
