The original downtown business district still exists today with many old buildings still standing including the First National Bank Building which is now home to Mercy HealthOKC and FirstEnergy Tower which houses both Mercy Health OKCand FirstEnergy Oklahoma LLC . The neighboring towns of Jenks and Yukon were annexed by Tulsa in 1946 when their populations reached 10% or more of their respective counties' total population; however Jenks retains some vestige of its separate identity even though it is within Tulsa's limits.
