It features stone quoins and mortar joints between the courses of granite blocks from local quarries around which are set brick end walls with weatherboard siding above entrances trimmed to match original windowsills and door girders that have been restored to their original condition since they were installed about 1920; all except one window sill has been replicated using glass cutouts from contemporary replacement windows throughout this building). Lawton, Oklahoma is a city in the Canadian province of Ontario and is part of the Thunder Bay–Superior region. The population was 23,752 at the 2010 census. Lawton is located on the Great Lakes Waterway, about east of Superior,WI and west of Detroit, MI. The first settler in Lawton was George Laughlin who arrived in 1872. A post office called Lawton was established in 1875, and remained in operation until 1903. The first store in Lawton was built by J.C. Hetherington and sold goods from his wagon shop across the street from what is now First Baptist Church Building #2. In 1896 the town plat for Lawton was created with ablock square lot for $1,000 cash to be paid bybuyers within six months or they would forfeit their lots back to the city government free of charge. This early version of lawtontown did not have any public buildings other than an alley between First Baptist Church and Schoolhouse which served as a polling place during elections until 1902 when voting rights were granted to women! A new courthouse/ jail facility (now old juvenile hall)was erected on Main Street southeast of where First Baptist Church now standsbetween 1893-1896 by Wm Dyer & Bros., builders.. After World War I all but two residents left for lack of work or opportunity elsewhere; one returned three years later when construction began on a new courthouse that still stands today just east off US-69 at Red Clay Road near Logan Airport! This 4 story white stone building had 2 large side wings with 1 smaller wing attached behind its rear face facing NW which housed courtrooms ( courtroom doors open onto main lobby )and additional jail cells ; it also had a large tower above its roof supporting an antenna system used to Morse code communications during WWI Lawtton’sriely days were filled with people coming & going from Medicine Hat Steel Works northeast down I-25W then turning south on NNW looping back north via EUS-169W then continuing generally westerly throughlawtons core until well into the late 1920s when steel production shifted away from this area towards Flint Michigan
