There have been several studies conducted on the safety of tasers specifically during police shootings. In one study conducted by researchers at Temple University found that while those shot with tasers did experience some pain and discomfort after the initial application of force, this was short-lived and generally dissipated within minutes (Hernandez et al., 2006). The second study found that none of the participants reported any negative side effects from being shot with a Taser(Saunders et al., 2006) . Overall though these studies suggest that there is limited potential for harm following discharge from an electric shock device like a Taser

In 1960, when Tulsa City Limits were created within its current boundaries by new city government ordinance,[1] Jenks became its own separate municipality with a population of only 1,500 residents.[2] However, due to its close proximity to downtown Tulsa[3], it continued to be included within city limits until May 2006 when they were reincorporated into Tulsa proper as part of an overall mass annexation effort by all sixOklahoma municipalities currently constituent within Tulsa City Limits - making it just one of 17 cities or townships in Oklahoma that have been annexed into Tulsa since that timeou
