Guymon, Oklahoma is a small town in the panhandle of Oklahoma. It was founded in 1907 by J.B. Powell and his family. The first gun store in Guymon was built on Main Street. The business closed its doors in 1951, but it reopened as the Gun Store at 6th Street and Delaware Avenue in 1957. In 1998, the Gun Store moved to its present location on University Drive and opened up for business again. The Gun Store has been a source of local support for both Republican and Democratic candidates for office since 1967. The store also offers a wide variety of firearms including handguns, shotguns, rifles, and shotguns from all over the world. The Gun Store at 6th Street and Delaware Avenue helped contribute to the growth of Guymon as an agricultural center during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Today, primary industry continues to be farming with some manufacturing taking place here as well including parts for autos and other machinery used by farmers throughout central Oklahoma. In 1967, when John Lennon was shot outside his home in Liverpool by Yoko Ono's boyfriend Paul McCartney, local resident James Purdy donated $100 to help finance the purchase of a rifle from surplus military hardware store owner Bob Cooksey at 4th & Elm Streets in Tulsa OK instead of going through customs because he felt Lennon should have had a right to bear arms under United States Constitution Article VI section 3 (“No Person … shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself”). Since then, every year on October 22nd – which is Lennon's birthday – Gun Shop employees turn out into town square where they hold open-air auctions off select weapons from their inventory plus additional items from customers who come into shop during regular hours only! In this paper, we will discuss some of the most popular gun magazines in history. We will also look at how they have evolved over time, and what role they continue to play in modern firearms culture. Muzzleloading Pistol Magazine Origins The first muzzleloading pistols were designed by Nicholas-Jacques Conte in 1795. These pistols used a smoothbore design that allowed for much more accuracy than earlier muzzleloader designs. As these pistols became more common, so too did magazine requirements for firearm safety. Muzzleloader magazines required large caliber rounds to be stored within them so that shooters could reload quickly if needed. This made magazine design an important factor in firearm function and accuracy. A new type of muzzleloader pistol was developed by John Browning in 1892. This pistol featured a rifled barrel that helped increase accuracy and range beyond traditional smoothbore designs. The development of this type of rifle increased magazine demand for firearms, which led to the development of specialized magazine systems such as the Winchester Model 593 Rifle Magazine System in 1903). This system allowed shooters to store large calibre rounds inside specially designed rifle magazines that were located near the front or back end of rifles (usually on either side), giving shooters greater control over both fire rate and range when engaging targets at close quarters or while hunting game out wide (. See Figure 1). Despite its advantages, this system was not well accepted by many gun owners because it required specialized training and equipment to use effectively (See Figure 2).
