Mr. Haggerty was a knifemaker who specialised in carving knives and swords. He sold his business to Frank Pfleger in 1916. In 1951, Mr. Pfleger passed away and his son, Larry Pfleger, took over the business. From 1951-1983, Larry Pfleger ran the shop alone but then he shifted to a company called The Knife Company which continued until 1984 when it merged with another company called Home Depot Incorporated. In that year,Larry Pfleger passed away and his son RickPfeffer became the new owner of The Knife Company. At present, RickPfeffer is running the store as an individual business with assistance from his wife Tammy who also works at the store part time while they parent their two children.
Enid, Oklahoma is a small town in County Seat of Muskogee, Oklahoma. The population was 1,824 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tulsa metropolitan area. Enid is located on the upper Great Plains and sits atop a plateau above the Arkansas River. The city was founded in 1907 by George Fenton as a small trading post on the Arkansas River. The original name for Enid was "Fort Dodge." When USPost Office moved to Enid in 1907, it changed its name to "George Fenton Post" after George Fargo who had donated land for the post office and built a store on it. In 1916, Fort Dodge became an army base during World War I and then again from 1940-1945 as Battle Ground Army Airfield #1 (BGAAF1). BGAAF1 served as training airfields for American forces during World War II including participation in Operation Overlord when Allied forces invaded Normandy in June 1944. On July 16, 1945, BGAAF1 became surplus property of United States Military Forces and reverted back to Detached Army Airfield status which lasted untilactivated on September 17th 1945 when all military installations were discontinued within the United States Department of Defense excepting Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson(JBER) which became obsolete due to demobilization following World War II. Assembling evidence indicates that Enid was platted by James Wickersham around 1875 as a town on high ground east of present day Muskogee Avenue with wagon wheels protruding from an elevated area about 10x10 feet square Lots were bought & sold throughout most of early 20th century but few if any remain extant today After Wickersham's death his heirs developed land west of present day Muskogee Ave which included Platt Park Addition now known as Old Town & Main Street properties would be surveyed & plat within next 2 years renamed Egan Place after agent who handled platting process Ditto for north side where much later First National Bank building erected adjacent to Canadian Pacific Railway tracks State Tax Assessor records reflect first incorporation date April 24 1870 Incorporation under 452nd Judicial District CourtName Unknown

Enid was founded in 1907 by C.L. Enid and her husband, Creighton L. Enid. The town became a center for oil production in the 1920s and 1930s, with its first refinery built in 1924. The town's economy declined during World War II, but it regained its prosperity after the war through the development of tourism and other industries. Today, Enid is a small town with a population of about 9,000 residents. The history of Enid begins with Creighton L. Enid and his wife C.L.'s arrival in 1907 to start a new life in what was then known as Muskogee County south of Oklahoma City. They were inspired to settle down because they saw the importance that oil had on the local economy - prior to Prohibition, oil was one of the few things that could be exported from Oklahoma without prohibitive taxes being levied against it. In fact, after prohibition ended in 1933*, many towns throughout Oklahoma City lost their economic viability due to this fact - while Enid continued to thrive due to its unique position within the Tulsa metropolitan area*. During World War II, when resources were scarce*, Enid experienced an upswing in its economy thanks to military production contracts*- most notably from Lockheed Aircraft.* However, post-war prosperity came at a price; as industry declined* social services grew more important* as citizens began looking for ways to support themselves outside of work*. In 1957 *Enid elected Mayor Charles "Kip" Kelleher *. He led the city through some tough times over the next several years before becoming mayor again in 1973*. During his time as mayor*, he worked hard towards revitalizing downtown* and creating new parks and businesses along Withtown avenues*. Ultimately, Kelleher helped create an environment where businesses can thrive even during difficult times (*see: photo below). Today, much like during Mayor Kipper's time – downtown is thriving with new businesses opening up every day (including several cafes/bars which have thrived since 2007!), while also retaining much of its historical charm**(*see photos below). This success is not only due to Mayor Kipper's workmanship*, but also because of strong community involvement which has kept everything running smoothly ever since – something which cannot be said for many other cities across America today!
