This system became known as “tri-point” sighting because it uses three points: elevation (position on the aiming platform), windage (position within 30 degrees of vertical line along your bore), and focus (directionality). It took about two years for this new sight design to become popular enough for widespread adoption among skilled riflemen throughout the Union Army. During World War I, many advances were made in artillery technology which led to increased firepower for infantry units fighting on battlefields all over Europe. One such advance was the development of periscope sighting devices which allowed troops on horseback or on tanks or submarines direct fire onto enemy positions from afar without having any need for rangefinding tools or optical glasses! In 1915, Germany produced its own sniper rifle called “Kriegsgewehr” which utilized periscope sighting devices similar to those employed by American Infantry during World War I. However, this weapon was ultimately unsuccessful because it required high levels of training and practice before one could effectively use it against enemy combatants

Enid, Oklahoma is a city in the Haskell County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 930 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Tulsa metropolitan area. The name "Enid" comes fromOklahoma Territory's first white settlement in 1867 and means "the land of endowments." The city was founded on December 5, 1907 by homesteaders including J.C. Whitehead and his brother-in-law Harry Hays with the goal of creating a town that would be self-sufficient and independent from Tulsa. Endowment sales made by Enid residents funded many important aspects of early growth such as schools, libraries, churches and other civic amenities. In 1929 the City Council voted to rename the city after its founder – Mrs. Ada Swayne Chapman – who had so generously given her home to Enid for use as a library and office building during World War I when Tulsa was still under military occupation. Mrs Chapman had also contributed $10,000 towards construction of what became known as Main Library which opened in 1927). In 1947 Enid voted to annex Claremore Municipality which included much rural territory east of US highway 169 (now eastern edge of Tulsa) due to growing pressure from Claremore residents for more services within their municipality than were being provided by Tulsa Mayor John Eastman's original concept for an unincorporated enclave within Tulsa proper constituted only 6 percent of the total population when annexation occurred; however annexation resulted in loss of political power for both municipalities as well as increased funding allocations from respective government coffers needed to maintain essential municipal services while Claremore grew economically into its own entity - something that still occurs today despite efforts by both entities to preserve community ties). Today Enid is home to over 1,200 businesses with a diverse range including health care professionals and small business owners; it also has numerous cultural attractions including two museums: Edmond O'Brien Museum Of Art & History located adjacent to Eastern Parkway Center shopping mall and Oral Roberts University which is located on downtown square near State Fairgrounds
