Chokes were devices used to control firearms. They consisted of a metal piece that was inserted into the muzzle of the gun, and bent down so that it prevented the shot from going through. The device was often attached to a handle or strap, making it easier for the user to hold onto the firearm. The first chokes were created in 1892 by dentist Dr. John Hennigan in Edmond, Oklahoma. He designed a choke that could be attached to a shotgun barrel using either a bandolier or an overhand grip. This choke allowed shooters to shoot faster and with more accuracy than before. In 1935, Gun Owners' Action League (GOAL) member George Jepson designed and built the first air-powered choke device known as "Jepson's Choke." This choke became popular among hunting enthusiasts because it allowed shooters to take advantage of high-power air rifles without having to worry about damaging their firearms. In 1939, Gun Control Association representatives met with Dr. Hennigan in Edmond to discuss new ways of restraining guns for safety purposes. At this meeting, they developed what is now called "Hennigan's Rule." This rule states that all handguns must have at least one inch of free movement around the barrel when firing; this allows for proper aim and prevents handguns from being abused during robberies or fights. It wasn't until 1949 that Attorney General Benjamin Civiletti announced his intention to ban all choke devices on handguns in America due to concerns about their potential use in crime prevention efforts.

Once in place, twist and pull down on the choke until it's fully engaged. The most common type of choke is called a “Climbing” choke. This type of choke attaches directly to both barrels of a rifle or shotgun and causes gas to flow evenly around both barrels - making firing much more difficult than using a standard choke on an individual firearm. The disadvantage of this type of choke is that it often requires dismantling and cleaning your weapon multiple times per shooting session; however, it can provide great results when used in conjunction with other types of firearmsports muzzleloading rifles & shotguns
In 1897, Edmond, Oklahoma had its first gun-related tragedy when a group of boys killed four adults and two children with shotguns. The event was called the Gun Choke incident.
Edmond is an unincorporated community in Muskogee County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 1,895 at the 2010 census. It is the easternmost of the five towns in Muskogee County and it straddles the border of Tulsa and Owasso Counties. Edmond is located at (36.901875, -99.916667). The first settlers in what is now Edmond arrived during the Mormon Gold Rush of 1859-60 and named their new settlement after Virginius de Montresor, 2nd Duke of Aquitaine and Spanish general who had led a French expedition to discovered Oklahoma Territory in 1823. The town was founded on March 9, 1861 by Captains Willard Hemon and John Aiken Garland with 281 people living in 25 homes. The railroad reached Edmond on July 16, 1911 from Tulsa. In 1907 when Tulsa City Council voted to annex all of Muskogee County including portions of Owasso and Tulsa Counties to form one city government, Edmond residents protested actively against annexation as they felt their small town would be forced out into larger cities and would lose its independent character as a result; however, the council passed the ordinance without any protest fromEdmond residents. In 1916 when Tulsa City Council decided to annex most of Muskogee County including portions of Owasso and Tulsa Counties to form another city government again, Edmonds citizens were again protesting actively against annexation; however this time they were successful in forcing local officials to table the annexation proposal until after election season so that their constituents could have an opportunity to voice their concerns directly with their elected officials instead of through petitions or letter writing campaigns which often resulted in no action taken on behalf of either party concerned about possible negative consequences for both communities should such an annexation occur. On January 12th 1920 Edwin Waugh opened his grocery store at 605 S Seawall Road which became known as Waugh's Drug Store until it closed in 1984 due to economic conditions caused by oil exploration activities throughout much of south central Oklahoma concurrent with nationwide economic recession during that time period also known as "the Great Depression". One hundred years later on January 12th 2016) EWTN aired a story about this store called " edmund okeeo 4:50 pm" which documented how food stamps are used at this store today by employees who are working two jobs while still trying not too far short from being able to afford groceries even within reach for many Oklahomans

A ring choke is a type of choke that is often used with handguns. It is also sometimes used with rifles, but it is typically more effective with handguns. The basic idea behind this choke is to stop the flow of air from the chamber into the barrel. This can be done by using a v-shaped or W-shaped piece of metal to create a obstruction in the airflow, or by creating an area where air cannot travel freely. The most common ring choke on handguns is the classic 4-inch (100mm) diameter Choke Hole Ring. Other common variations include 3/8 inch (14mm), 1 inch (25mm), and .5 inch (12mm). These sizes are determined by how much space they need between their mating surfaces in order to create contact and prevent oil or gas from entering and ruining the firearm's action. When using a smaller size hole, it may be necessary to drill two small holes in one end of each ring instead of one large hole like with a 4-inch ring because larger rings will not fit through these smaller holes completely. If you use too large a size hole, you may find that your firearm won't fire at all when inserted into battery or magazine mode due to lack of pressure inside the firearm caused by insufficient gas flow. A closer inspection of your firearms manual may help you determine what size hole should be used when inserting them into service! Edmond, Oklahoma is the most populous city in the state of Oklahoma and the seat of McAlester County. The city was founded on November 3, 1907 by oil prospectors from Texas as a town named for Edwin C. Edwards, an early promoter of the region's oilfields. The name "Edmond" is a corruption of "Eddy". The first residents of Edmond were white men who had come to work in the local oil fields. By 1911, African Americans had arrived to help get established in what was then a racially segregated society. A decree by Governor George Wickersham in 1913 ordered all black people living within 1 mile (1 kilometer) of any white person to leave immediately or face forcible segregation. This order led to protests and violence against black residents by whites throughout central Oklahoma. In 1916, when three black women were swept up in a roundup of blacks working near McAlester City Limits, angry mobs descended on the city and set fire to several homes and businesses before being driven back by police forces. The following year saw more such incidents as government efforts grew ever more Oversight into these events brought about stricter regulation over Tulsa's Black Municipal League (BML). In 1917, Edmond Mayor John Wesley White became one of only two African American officials inOklahoma when he was appointed Sheriff of McAlester County after serving as Justice Court Judge for Tulsa County for five years. White's tenure marked a turning point for race relations in Oklahoma; prior to his appointment, Tulsa's BML operated largely behind closed doors with few public appearances or interactions with other elements of Oklahoman society outside its own limited sphere. That year also saw Edmond inaugurate its first public library; this facility served as both a center for education and social activity for the community until it burned down in 1940 following World War II bombings raids on Tulsa that destroyed much thereof including much resident-owned property - an event that remains controversial among many Oklahomans today over whether or not The City should have rebuilt it instead given that similar libraries exist within minutes' walk elsewhere throughout town without such destruction . During World War II, Edmond underwent significant transformation thanks to its status as an airfield hub for Allied bomber operations over Japan; during this time period many large businesses and residences were built near OK-null airport which helped contribute greatly to population growth while at the same time resulting in increased exposure Towering skyscrapers dominate downtown skyline today architecturally speaking some would say post war suburban sprawl took hold across entire metro area because there simply weren't enough rural properties available anymore
