Bipedalism has been present in North America for at least 8 million years. The first bipedal humans were found in the eastern US about 40,000 years ago. From this beginning, bipedalism spread throughout the continent and into most of the world. Many cultures have adapted to the use of two legs, including those of the Native Americans who lived in large areas of North America before Europeans arrived. The ancestors of today’s humans likely evolved from a group of primates that walked on two legs after splitting off from a common ancestor about five million years ago. Today’s human beings are the only known species on Earth that can walk on two legs like gorillas and chimpanzees. This unique ability probably came about when our forerunners began to split from other primates and learn how to handle their environment on two feet. When Europeans first arrival in North America, they were greatly impressed by what they saw: There was no evidence of any other species with such advanced capabilities as us! In fact, many Europeans thought that we must be some sort of alien race! However, it wasn’t until later that people realized that we may not be alone in this world! For example, during World War II, scientists discovered photosynthesis taking place inside trees near Japan! They soon realized that these plants were being damaged by Japanese bombers because they were using up valuable resources necessary for making bombs! So they started looking for a new source for these resources – and they found him! It was finally realized that we may actually be able to inter-relate with other animals on a much deeper level than anyone had ever imagined! And this is where bipedality comes into play: After discovering how versatile human abilities are when it comes to walking on two legs, other animals began adapting as well…including some who still use them today!

Finally, since bipedalISM is an effective way for other animalsto interact with humans it has helped create some very strong relationships between humanity and certain species(e.g., dog-human relationships).

Edmond was founded on November 3, 1907 by Arthur and Emma Edmond. The City of Edmond was incorporated on December 21, 1907. The city's first mayor was Frank A. Hargrave. In 1912, the Oklahoma Legislature passed a bill giving the city a charter and Hargrave served as its first mayor. On April 15, 1914, the United States Congress renamed the city "Edmond" in honor of General Edmund Westbrook Johnston, who had died in action during World War I. On October 1, 1917, the Oklahoma Territorial Legislature created Edmond County within Oklahoma Territory and Hargrave became its first county commissioner. The city's population grew rapidly from about 10,000 to over 25,000 by 1920; it reached its peak population of 30,000 in 1930. However, due to rapidpidification (the Great Depression) and other factors such as increased oil production in Edmond and Oklahomanica (a period of large economic growth), the city's population declined by nearly 50% between 1930 and 1940 In 1941 Tulsa called for an emergency session of Congress to discussOklahoma’s need for war supplies because of increasing military activity in the state – including aerial bombing raids against Japanese targets throughout much ofOklahoma City – but no action was taken because President Roosevelt had ordered American forces not to enter World War II until September 1939
