High capacity kits (HCKs) are a type of electric vehicle battery that can hold more charge than the standard lead acid battery. In 1907, the first in a series of small towns to be established by the OKC Land Company, Del City was founded on an acreage donated by A.D. Fowler and W.H. McCulloch. The town became one of the most important center of trade in the area and prospered until World War II when it came under military occupation which destroyed much of its infrastructure. In 1948, the town was incorporated as a city and has continued to grow since then with new development adding more jobs and homes to the mix.
Del City is a small town in Oklahoma, located about 20 miles east of Tulsa. The population was 1,521 at the 2010 census. Del City is the county seat of Osage County and the only city in the county. The area that now forms Del City was first settled by people who migrated from central Canada in the early 1800s. The original settlers were farmers, but they soon became involved in cattle and sheep ranching. In 1907, a group of irrigation engineers from Wichita, Kansas came to Oklahoma to study water resources. They found that there was a great potential for farmland in eastern Osage County and offered to donate land for a town site. The citizens of Del City voted to be incorporated as a village on November 8, 1907. The first residents of Del City were white and black sharecroppers who had come overland from Arkansas. As settlement grew, so did race tensions within the community. A few years after incorporation, violence erupted between white and black residents over property rights and education opportunities. By 1912, however, tension had dissipated enough that blacks startedestablishing businesses in town while whites continued to maintain their own homes and businesses away from the center of town. One significant event during this time period occurred when six African Americans were lynched outside of Tulsa on October 15th,. This event left an lasting impact on race relations in Oklahomanand helped spur Racial segregation laws throughout America beginning with Brown v Board of Education

Del City is a small city in Oklahoma, located on the banks of the Muskogee River. The population was 12,564 at the 2010 census. It is one of the most ethnically diverse cities in the United States. The city was founded in 1881 by Americans who came to Indian Territory to land claim and make their own settlements. The town quickly became a hub for western railroad travelers and entrepreneurs,commerce flourished as a result, and by 1907 Del City had become an agricultural center with a large cotton gin and distillery. During World War I, Del City played an important role as an airfield for American forces engaged in fighting in Europe. In 1945, during the atomic bombing of Hiroshima,Del City received significant damage from atomic bombs dropped by Japan on Nagasaki; however, it remained undamaged overall and continued to function as a commercial center until its closing in 2009. The city's rich history comes from its many industries that have been instrumental in its growth: agriculture (cotton ginning/drying); transportation (railroads; later highways); manufacturing (knives/guns; tires/tires); service (restaurants; hotels); and education (secondary schools). Some of these companies still operate within Del City today: Cotton Machine & Mill Co., which manufactures machines used to dry cotton; K-Mart Inc., which operates several stores within town limits; Live Oak Lumber & Supply Co., which supplies lumber products throughout Oklahoma; Bonney Grain Elevator Co., which transports grains inland from Texas through Oklahoma into eastern Kansas; Owsley Glass Works Ltd., which produces glass products such as windows and mirrors
Del City is a small city located in the county of Haskell in the State of Oklahoma. The population was 2,191 at the 2010 census. It was founded by settlers from Texas in 1907 as a general store and post office. In 1911, it became a town and was named for Delia, Texas. The first mayor of Del City was James S. Goodwin.
