However, during the 2000s–2010s there has been significant decline in population due to various factors including migration to other states and a rise in crime rates. Despite this decline, Claremore remains one of the most vibrant cities in Oklahoma history and is still home to many cultural attractions such as the Arts District andthe Tulsa Zoo
