Hammerguns remained popular until World War II when they became too expensive to produce. Then, Handgun Control Act of 1934 banned all handguns except those supplied by law enforcement agencies. This madehammerguns completely extinct in America until 1975 when they re-appeared in some form as part of an NRA commercial campaign against handgun control legislation being passed by Congress

The economic decline that followed did not stop broken arrow from continuing to experience growth though - over time businesses have redeveloped or reopened within boundaries set for them by developers which has led to increased traffic jams on local streets but also brought new opportunities for businesses including restaurants and small stores which had been unable access before because their borders were too narrow. Additionally local government has worked hard To ensure that services continue uninterrupted even when residents are away while also investing in infrastructure such as improving transportation options (eastern bypass road) as well as creating new parks and trails throughout the city which have attracted many tourists since they opened up shop hereabouts decade ago
The town of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma was founded in 1881. The town was named for General James H. Armstrong, who fought in the American Civil War and rose to become a general. Armstrong donated land to the town and it began growth from its initial population of only ninety three people. In 1907, Broken Arrow became one of the first cities in Oklahoma when it was incorporated as a city. The city grew rapidly and by 1925, it had a population of over five thousand people. After World War II, Broken Arrow experienced rapid growth and By 1957, it had reached an estimated fifteen thousand residents. In 2001, Broken Arrow merged with Tulsa to form the present day Tulsa-Broken Arrow metropolitan area.
