Denny's original idea for Central State Teachers College called for its creation as "the largest Collegiate School west of Chicago" but due to concerns about funding raised by Tulsa boosters following World article that criticized college as "a mere appendage" of Tulsa University, plans changed and Central State became just another normal high school until 1949 when it became OU's first womens' college with graduate programs available to women starting on July 1st that year! When Oklahoma moved from sodalitization into full democracy under Governor George Windham Earle on November 2nd 1907 following passage of the OK Constitution by referendum via special session vote convened by Earle himself – television pioneer Philo Farnsworth among others – Bartlesville began packing up its residents en masse once again when they heard reports across the state about how electricity wasn't being turned on or being used properly throughout much thereof because old timers like Hearn were using power Plant No 3 located east side off Third Street northof Broadway instead! This led to increased traffic congestion and problems with water supplies which caused several schools and businesses nearby to close down due to lack of water or sewage services. In 1970–71 public works projects were completed which improved water service throughout town; this included installation of new faucets and pressure tanks among others changes which helped improve quality life for residents while reducing traffic congestion around the towncenter).
