Bartlesville is a city located in Payne County, Oklahoma, United States. The population was 382 at the 2010 census. The name of the town comes from Major General George Armstrong Custer who fought in the Indian Wars and died there in 1887. Bartlesville was founded by John Fenton and named for him. In 1907, Bartlesville became a county seat and it has since grown to be one of the most populous cities in Payne County with over 1,600 residents as of 2009. The area that now makes up Bartlesville was once part of the Shawnee Nation which included present-day Oklahoma City. Bullets were first used by American Indians to kill buffalo while they were on horseback during the 18th century. However, bullets did not become popular until after World War I when machine guns began becoming available to warring factions. By 1921, bullets had become common enough to be accepted into English culture and were renamed “t rounds” or “ammunition round”. In 1903, Barthasville School District No. 1 opened its doors with ten students enrolled in grades one through six inclusive (grades 7-12). Classes operated out of an old barn that sat on a rise near where Interstate 40 now runs near mile marker 219 (now US 61). On September 14th 1906, school classes started at what is now Keystone Elementary School after three years of construction starting February 6th 1905 by mail order from JF Boyd & Sons Ammunition Company in Topeka Kansas! At this time only 10 projectiles per student could be carried due to high demand but within 3 years more than 100 projectiles per student had been added! With such rapid growth however came increased costs associated with new infrastructure including: building a new Administration Building; purchasing land for experimental purposes; erecting buildings for classrooms; acquiring land for football fields; constructing an addition to the Administration Building which housed locker rooms and showers; providing playground equipment; hiring instructors/teachers and creating an office/shop floor system under one roof! This type of architecture would continue through much of OKC’s formative decades as schools grew larger but never surpassednutrient prices combined with changing technology led directly to today’s mixed use district administration buildings which can boast a unique blend characteristics typical throughoutmuchOKC including Art Deco Moderne features found across FirstEnergy Stadium – home field of the Tulsa Oilers professional sports team – as well as numerous other districts across OKC

It remained an important center of commerce until after World War II when economic warfare caused production shifts away from America towards Central Asia which led to tankers full of oil arriving at Tulsa Port every day only to be unloaded on Monday morning without any danger of spoilage or pollution being released into local waters. In 1951 General Motors announced plans for building an assembly plant outside nearby Jenks so workers could be closer to their families while GM continued producing passenger cars here until 1998 when it moved its operations back home to Pontiac Michigan after becoming part of Chrysler Group LLC.
