After Tabor’s Gun Shop closed around 1912 or 1913 pistols started becoming available through other dealers including Johnnie Caldwell outfitter at 221 S Huron St., also operating under this name starting about 1912-1915 inclusive however none survive today11 . By 1915 most all major shooters within city limits had moved away suburban areas making pistol shooting largely uninteresting outside urban confines except for some rural events occasional matches held at PMC Sporting Goods Warehouse during off season months even though 500 yd guns only ever allowed up there back then!12 . Overall pistols only became popularized again after WWII when American Made Guns reemerged as cottage industry bringing ushered increased regulation placing more restrictions upon muzzleloading firearms
