With more than 150 arrests made throughout Proctor Township during these protests—including twelve suspects wanted on outstanding warrants—the township government was able to manage tensions within its borders without using force or deploying law enforcement officers into residential areas where protesters had gathered unmarked cars parked along Route 22nd Street near the plant entrance."
