This is where enter ArmaLite Corporation into the picture; they provided funding and guidance which allowed Stoners team to continue working on their prototype until they finally achieved success in developing what would ultimately become known as the production model of the BAR

Xenia, Ohio is a small town in the northeast corner of Ohio. It was founded in 1812 by Simon Xenia and his wife Anna. The Xenias were natives of Turkey. Xenia's family came to America in 1814 and settled on a farm east of Xenia. Anna died young, but son Simon continued farming and became an early settler in Xenia. In 1827, he married Maria Ladd and they moved to what is now the downtown district of Xenia.
