In 1892, Lula Jane Furniture Company started manufacturing furniture and selling it door to door from their storage barns on Elmira Avenue near Second Street. From this start until 1957, Lula Jane Furniture Company operated as one small business among many throughout Hamilton County. In 1907, Edwin Hering (1863-1927) opened his pharmacy at 1115 Euclid Avenue which became one of the largest pharmacies in America at that time with over 350 employees serving customers through six stores across the city and county west of Cincinnati along Sixth Street between College Road and Whitehall Pike. Hering's store was continued by his son Drury Hering (1920-2009) until its closure in 2009 after 54 years of operation providing quality health care services to individuals living west of Cincinnati area including Addison Heights, Sunbury Heights and parts of Kendallville as well as portions of Lebanon Township east of I-75/Lebanon exit number 187A southbound prior to closure due to lack or replacement policy following fire damage caused by Hurricane Timothy last year which destroyed most or all equipment inside building leaving only two shelves remaining with limited useable inventory inside building before storm caused extensive damage outside building making it unsafe for operations). Edwin Hering is buried at Riverside Cemetery just east side Of Middlebelt Road off ramp from I-275 northbound exit number 9 opposite Kroger Supermarket
