For those reasons, open-Frame scopes often aren’t suited for competitive hunting or target practice because they lack all the features common to reflex sights such as elevation control, windage control, and reticle adjustments

Westerville is a village in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The population was 15,839 at the 2010 census. Westerville was founded in 1811 as a small settlement on the Scioto River. In 1870, it became the seat of Summit County. It became a borough in 1907 and an independent city in 1965. The town was platted by Horace Walbridge and James Aitken and named for George Washington Westervelt, 1st Viscount Westervelt. The first store opened in 1811 and the first post office was established in 1815. The name came from its location on the Scioto River which led to its nickname "The Watertown of Ten Thousand Hills." In 1870, when Summit County was created, Westerville became its seat with a population of just under 2,000 residents. The next year saw another increase when mineral rights were sold adjacent to the town limits making land available for development which quickly began to grow with mills being built along both the Scioto and Olentangy rivers as well as other businesses catering to settlers who had landed on these shores during what would become known as Ohio's Gold Rush era. In 1907, Westerville became an independent city following annexation by Columbus after years of wrangling between the two cities over control of their respective waterfronts; this action allowed Westerville to become one of only two municipalities within Columbus with jurisdiction outside of the downtown area (the other being Highland Heights). In 1965, after several years of growth due to suburbanization within Columbus itself- including annexations by Uptown/Middletown and High Point/Newark- Westerville again gained independence becoming one of Greater Cincinnati's 26 municipal districts (alongside Dayton). While still subordinate to City Hall within that larger entity it has since enjoyed some degree of autonomy most notably through its own budgeting process which allows for more direct representation within City Hall than is possible via Referral Agreement or unanimous vote among all Municipal Districts collectively
