In 1795, a man named Blackstone bought land in what is now Washington Court House, Ohio. He built a cabin on the property and named it after himself. In 1892, Washington Court House in Ohio was the scene of a deadly altercation between two groups of men. The fight began when one group of men, led by an unknown individual, attacked another group with tasers. As the fight continued, individuals within the first group began to fall victim to the device. The dead man's body was then thrown into the fray and came into contact with those using tasers.
