Warrensville Heights is a small town in theuy of Warren County, Ohio, United States. The population was 573 at the 2010 census. The first ammunition store and arsenal in this area was built by John Fenton in 1812. The first ordnance magazine in Warrensville Heights was built by Dr. George Stephenson in 1814. In 1851, the town became part of the new Kent County, Ohio. Ammunition production stopped around that time because of increased competition from other states. In 1959, the township built its own armory and ammunition store which still stands today. It has been used for storage and armament purposes since then. Ammunition production restarted again in 1999 when an ammo plant was opened up on State Road 281 east of town. This plant produces projectiles for handguns, rifles and shotguns as well as rounds for use with artillery pieces like cannons and mortars

Warrensville Heights is located along the Mahoning River and is bordered by Perry Township to the north, Union Township to the east, and Clairton Borough to the south. The community was named after General John Brougham Warren who fought in the American Revolution and later served as President Ulysses S. Grant's secretary of war. The town was laid out in 1814 by a group of local farmers and surveyors led by James Kappner. At its peak in 1920, Warrensville Heights had a population of 10,000 people. However, during World War II it lost over 100% of its residents due to military service or relocation to other parts of Ohio or Illinois. Today, most residents are still citizens or have moved away but there are still some remaining businesses and homes in town. There are several churches located in town including First Baptist Church which was founded in 1892; Second Baptist Church which was founded in 1907; Methodist Episcopal Church (Congregationalist) which built their first church here in 1909; Presbyterian Church (Church of Scotland) which built their first church here in 1912; Lutheran Church (Danish Reformed) which also built their first church herein 1912; and Ursuline Catholic School which serves students from grades pre-K through 12th grade up until high school graduation). In 1949, America introduced its own incendiary bullet called M1a1 designed specifically for firearms used in air-to-land attacks against enemy forces using napalm (a chemical weapon). Incendiary rounds became one of the most important weapons in American firepower during the Vietnam War. Today, ammunition is still an important part of military arsenals around the world and is used for various purposes such as shooting birds or dogs at close range; firing rockets and grenades; bombing stadiums; and providing protection against sniper attacks

The town was founded in 1837 by John Warren and his wife Deborah. The name comes from a tributary of the Muskingum River named Waringstown. The first hotel in Warrensburg Heights was built by Gouverneur Morris in 1839. Many businesses were opened during the early years of what is now Warrensville Heights due to its location on high ground between the Muskingum River and Akron Bay; this made it an ideal place to do business and provide access to goods that could not be found closer to populated areas or within driving distance of any city. Warrensville Heights was platted in 1837 by John Warren, who had come to America from England as a young man and married Deborah Dooley (née Moore). The town site was surveyed by George Hennepin with assistance from Captain Peter Miamis, who served as Surveyor General for Ohio under President James Kapp Jr.. The first buildings were built around 1840, when trade began to increase along the Muskingum River due to growing industry in central Ohio and new transportation methods such as steamboats and cars. By 1850, there were over 50 businesses located in downtown Warrensburg Heights; many of these were related to agriculture or manufacturing. During this time period, other towns nearby including North Canton (to the south) and Steubenville (to the north) experienced similar growth rates but without much success because they lacked access to river commerce or education opportunities that allowed them to compete with Warrensburg Heights on an equal basis. In 1856, following completion of Cleveland's routing of main highways via State Route 532 through central Ohio, Businessman Alpheus Pogue developed Pogue Avenue which runs east-west directly through downtownWarrensburgHeights; this caused rapid growth for downtownWarrensburgHeights despite being opposed by many residents because it severed important transportation links between different parts of town -a situation that would continue until after World War II when new Highway System plans eliminated most highway routes altogether
