Warren, Ohio is home to the world's largest BBgun show and trade event, the BB Gun Show of America. Held annually in mid-October, this three-day event features more than 200 exhibitors from all over the United States. This year's show was held October 12-14, 2016 and featured a wide variety of firearms including airguns, pellet guns, shotguns, revolvers and more. In 1870, it had a population estimated at 25 individuals; however, by 1880 it had swollen to over 100 due to waves of immigration from Eastern Europe – primarily Jews – that had followed America’s entry into World War 1.
