Twinsburg is a town in Findlay County, Ohio, United States. The population was 10,711 at the 2000 census. The town was founded in 1835 by John Broughton and named for John Twinsburg, an ancestor of its founder. It became a city in 1907. The first target shooting event in Twinsburg took place on July 3, 1835 when twelve people from the community gathered to shoot at a small tree near the town's original courthouse. At that time target shooters used stone balls instead of modern ammunition such as .50 caliber rounds today. One of the organizers of this inaugural event was John Broughton who also served as its first mayor. One of Twinsburg’s most well-known landmarks is located just east of the centre of town on US Route 621 which has been home to many sporting events over the years including baseball (twinbaughs AAA minor league team), track and field (twinbaughs state high school varsity girls wrestling team), golf (the twinsburgh golfers club) and now airsoft (the twinsburgh airsoft club). This short strip mall contains two gas stations/convenience stores and several mini-marts along with several restaurants and cafes throughout its six blockslong shopping area making it one stop for almost anything you could want or need while still being close enough to get downtown if you wanted to see all that Twinbough has to offer! The Target Center complex located off I-71 about 5 miles south provides much needed retail space for locals without having any other choice nearby; however since it opened up shop local businesses have started moving out leaving only one anchor store left open inside what had once been a highly trafficked shopping area! In fact recently there have been reports surfacing online stating that some local businesses are threatening to leave unless they receive government subsidies which would then provide them with more access to renovation money which would then allow them to reopen but we will just have to wait and see what happens next! As long asTarget remains open so does Twinbourg….

Twinburg is a town in Stark County, Ohio, United States. The population was 4,821 at the 2010 census. The name Twinburg comes from the two towns of that name which were once part of the same county. The first settlers in what is now Twinburg arrived around 1800. One of these men, John Stephenson, named his farm "Newburgh" after Newburgh, Scotland. In 1814, James Gilmore settled near what is now downtown Twinburg and started to clear land for a community he called Gilmore's Corner. He built a log cabin and it became the nucleus for Gilmore's Corner when other settlers announced they would establish their own villages on this site if prices for land improved. By 1826, all of northeastern Stark County had been surveyed and platted and twin towns had been established at Washingtonville (now York) on the west side of the Cuyahoga River and Dayton on its east side. On May 12th of that year, members of the First Township Nineveh Board voted to name their new township Twinburg because it so resembled Delaware Township in Upper Darby Township where they had just moved from four years earlier. At first there was no one living in Twinburg; later families began arriving as businesses opened up along with more people who desired to live within walking distance of good jobs or shopping opportunities at local farms or mills! In 1829- 1830 two brothers by the name of Prentice came to Twinsburg from Ashtabula County and started a tannery manufacturing some 300 barrels per day fromlogs brought overland by wagonloads! Today many items we take for granted such as T-shirts are made here including jeans! pajamas are also made here! This process continues today with companies such as Nike having factories located throughout Greater Cleveland area making products here including sneakers etcetera

Twinsburg is a town in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States. The population was 9,326 at the 2010 census. Twinsburg formed as a town on December 18, 1837 from the merger of two other towns, Fairview and Winton. The name is derived from " Twin Buttes", a hill in the town center which is also its namesake. The first settler in Twinsburg was John Dickey and his family who arrived on October 27, 1797. They were the only arrivals that year and set up an camp on what would later become Park Avenue. Dickey became one of the early settlers in Twinsburg because he located land for farming near where his family lived. By 1800, most of the residents of Twinsburg had arrived and started to build homes or purchased land around what would later become Park Avenue. As development continued to occur in Twinsburg, several businesses were established including grist mill #1 (built 1824), brick kiln (1829), sawmill (1830), smithy (1836), insurance office (1850) and post office (#2). By 1830s many people had built homes around what would later be called Park Avenue with some living until they passed away there such as George Hines who died on April 14th of that year at 86 years old while living on Park Ave.. One reason why these initial settlers chose to call their community Twinburgh was because it coincided with both their birthdays - November 3rd for John Dickey and October 26th for Anna Maria Hines - both days within three weeks of each other! One of the earliest businesses to open up in Twinburgh was Grist Mill #1 which began operations on July 8th 1824 by Wm T Franks under contract from Isaiah Brown & Co., a dry goods company based in Cleveland. The milling process involved grinding corn into flour which then went into production for local residents such as Mr. Franks who sold it ground beef Patties, breadstuff etcetera through his store front window daily until 1850 when he closed shop due to commercial failures; however, many continue to sell grinded corn products today via restaurants or mills owned by others located close by like those mentioned above including Gristar Incorporated which has its origins back to Grist Mill #1 still running today! A second business opened soon after Grist Mill #1 - Brick Kiln - starting operations on October 6th 1829 by Nicholas Breslin under contract from Ezekiel Stephens & Sons Coal Merchants Company founded in Akron Ohio just north of downtown Twinburgh! This kiln manufactured bricks used throughout Summit County including making bricks for churches and school buildings among many others before being abandoned c/o JB Masons block house circa 1930-1940s located east side Center Street between Elmwood Road & Greenfield Road just north d'Quezon Boulevard housing now apartments! It should be noted that Brick Kiln operated successfully despite having very low output rates due largely to financial instability caused by high prices paid per pound for raw materials smuggled into America during the 1830s internal Revenue Act known as 'the Decatur Doctrine'. Although not all kilns produced any bricks whatsoever during this time period; Brick Kiln remains one of Twinsburg's most revered landmarks as an iconic symbol of local commerce even 50+ years after it ceased operations! In 1840 another business – Insurance Office – opened up next door toGrisham Bakery where Willard Tate served as both clerk and agent handling personal policy insurance needs across south central Ohio becoming well know within the community thanks primarily theretofore To Kill A Mockingbird author Harper Lee!! In addition another important business establishment opening shortly thereafter – Post Office – serving Twinburgh residents until 1909 when mail service moved out permanently leaving behind only Directory Information Services currently operating out-side township limits!!! aforementioned Postal Service facility still stands adjacent d'Quezon Boulevard hosting occasional concerts/events courtesy music promoter Rich Fruitwire aka Red Kite
