Twinsburg is a town in Muskingum County, Ohio, United States. The population was 3,651 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dayton–Cincinnati metropolitan area. The first settler in Twinburg was John Gage in 1798. By 1810, there were four families living in what is now Twinsburg: Gage, Washburns, Reynolds and Smiths. In 1814, two brothers named James and John Wirtz bought land from George Stephenson for $1000 cash. They began to cultivate the land and by 1830 had built a cabin on their new place of residence. In 1834 they sold their home and moved to central Ohio to start anew as farmers with their new farmstead located near Lebanon, Indiana (now Westville). In 1840 James Wirtz died leaving his wife Mary Ann with six children under the age of eighteen; three boys - James Jr., Robert and Enoch - and three girls - Sarah Jane (Wiltze), Fanny Jane (Humphrey) and Emily Augusta (Stiles). With no male heir apparent available to take care of their farmstead after he died young in 1840, the family started looking for an additional source of income which led them eventually to found the Insurance Company of Columbus in 1850 which then became known as The Brothers Insurance Company Ltd. James Wirtz' widow Mary Ann continued running her business until her death in 1865 when it passed on to her daughters Sarah Jane Humphrey Stiles alias "Emily Augusta" along with her brother-in-law Enoch Stiles alias "Enoch Smith". After Mary Ann's death Enoch took over management while continuing as Head Brother until his own death in 1896 making him Head Brother Emeritus or Successor according to law since James Wirtz never left any will or testamentary instructions behind that would vest authority over his company into anyone other than himself directlyither through descent nor election thereby ending any potential disputes between siblings should one become deceased without leave from either sister therefore rendering Emeritus status quo pending further legal proceedings see section below In 1870 when Henry Ford founded The Ford Motor Company on Dearborn Street just east of downtown Toledo he partnered up with Dr Samuel Morse who donated 2 acres(0 hectares) across street from Ford’s Garage for use as a manufacturing plant for electric vehicles being made hereunder equipment donated by Canadian manufacturer Mr Harkness . President Lincoln visited this plant during his campaign tour occurring on November 15th1870 when he complimented Mr Ford on having developed this technology so quickly . The first automobiles were produced hereat Dearborn Street location soon followed by trucks , buses etc transportations moved production from building north west corner lot next door where buildings still stand today all served by underground system including power & water

Twinsburg, Ohio is a small town located in the U.S. state of Ohio. The population was 9,021 at the 2010 census, making it the smallest municipality in the county and one of the most rural areas in Stark County. The name " Twinsburg" was first used by early settlers in what is now Twinsburg Township on the Scioto River. In 1810, John Cushing and his family moved to this area from Hardwick Township on the Scioto River. Cushing was a surveyor for Harrison and Monroe counties and surveyed lands that would become Twinburg Township and parts of today's Lucas County. The first grocery store opened in Twinsburg in 1902. It was called the Store atdocs corner and it operated until 1914 when it closed due to economic factors including World War I which interrupted business growth. In 1925, brothers Orville Ellermeier and Otto Ellermeier opened their own grocery store named The Garter Grocery & Drug Store at 421 W Main Street which continues to operate as a independently owned store today. In 1975, brothers Orville Ellermeier Jr., Otto Ellermeier III, Tom Metzler opened up their own convenience store adjacent to their grocery store named The Metzler Store at 426 W Main Street which still operates today as an independently owned business venture run by siblings Orville (Top), Otto (Otto) Ellermeier III (Tom), Tom Metzler (Tom). In 1984-1985, twin sisters Kathy Weidemann-Baumgartner formed a band called Kathy's Band with members from local schools including twins Kathy Weidemann-Baumgartner (keyboards/vocals/guitar), Lisa Kapp(drums/percussion/vibes), Karoline Baumann(bass) and Patty Boehm(tennis). They played locally throughout central Ohio before they relocated to Cincinnati where they started playing public venues such as Reggies Ballroom before disbanding after 8 years due to musical differences between sisters Kathy Weidemann-Baumgartner&Karoline Baumann&Patty BoehmDuplication issues caused by duplication of instruments within band during recording sessions
The town of Twinsburg was founded in 1814 by John and Catherine Lewis. The town was named for their two daughters, twins born to them the same day. The Lewises were farmers who moved from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania to Twinsburg because of the good land there. In 1827, they built the first school in the town and began to build a small economy around agriculture. The town grew rapidly during the 1830s and 1840s as more people came to live in Twinsburg. In 1851, twin brothers Eldon and Orville Wright founded Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in nearby Dayton after winning a competition to design an air force station. This helped Twinsburg become one of the leading towns in Ohio during this time period.
