Twinburg is a town in Stark County, Ohio, United States. The population was 9,531 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Akron-Canton-Muncie Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settlers in what would become Twinburg were farmers and their families who arrived around 1825. The town was named for John and Anna twin brothers who had settled in that area two years earlier. By 1830, the twin brothers had three children and started a grocery store which became the nucleus of Twinburg's economy until it closed its doors in 1898. In 1834, Amos Wright founded Wright & Sons Milling Company which produced flour for local mills until it closed in 1886. In 1870, David Kapp purchased land east of Twinburg on which he built his farmstead called "Kapp Hill." From here he ran a feed milling operation that yielded hay and other products to local merchants as well as supplying seed corn to early industrialists such as George Husted andSimon Goudreau. Kapp also operated a post office from 1871 to 1893; the building still stands today on Delaware Street west of downtown Twinburg. The Panic of 1907 caused many banks throughout the country to close their doors including those in Twinsburg; however Kapp continued to operate his business until March 1908 when he failed to make an interest payment on his loan from the Farmers Bankruptcy Trust Company located in Cleveland Heights (now part of Euclid). At this point all assets were seized by creditors with only $3 cash being left behind which was used to buy some land adjacent to Kapp's property for use as a farmstead known as "Kapp Hill". In 1915 David Kapp's great grandson John Biddle bought "Kapp Hill" from David Kapps son; later it became known as Biddle Place after John's wife Louise died there in 1966%. Today Biddle Place offers home furnishings, groceries, service animal rentals and weddings through its wedding chapel/conference center! On July 1st 1920 twins Arti Prentice (1893-1981)and Garry Prentice (1901-1976) married residents Mildred German (née Schertzky) and Franklin Crouse at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church just northeast of Twinburg off US Route 16 near Northfield before going on vacation to clear snow off their property near Bald Eagle Lakehurst Resort where they cooked out under tents pitched on six acre lakeshore lot! They returned safely tired but happy having enjoyed every minute! Not content with just enjoying themselves they decided upon further adventures both within Canada and internationally including travel aboard USS Constitution during World War II serving withthe Navy Air Service flying over Japan then making landfall at Saipan after bombing Hiroshima! After hostilities ended they returned home settling down living next door to one another continuing their busy lives sharing recipes freshly baked each morning before retiring for dinner each night leaving young Garry with plenty opportunity explore new interests while his older sister stayed housewifely duties...twins never stopped working together either)!

Twinsburg is located in Trumbull County, Ohio, on the border of Erie and Niagara counties. The Town of Twinsburg was founded in 1802 by John McCloskey and his wife Catherine. The town's first post office was established in 1806. In 1814, the town charterwas issued and specified that the mayor be a person of "good character." The first school was built in 1815. The present day twin-tower courthouse was built in 1907 and is one of the most famous buildings in Twinsburg. From 1915 to 1929, Twinsburg served as capital of Trumbull County. In 1954, it became the seat of Trumbull County government again when Lima (now part of Erie) took over that role from Twinsburg. The history of Twinaugust begins with the discovery by George Washington Woodward Jr., Sr., a doctor who moved to what is now Twinaugust from Genesee County, New York, in 1837 during the American Fur Trade Era. Woodward carried out explorations for fur traders along what today is Buffalo Creek between Sayreville (now Northumberland Township) and Nowhatta (now Whitehall Township). One such explorer was James Kapp, who explored what are now Tuscarawas Heights and Dunkirktown northeast of Twinbrook Lakeshore on October 3, 1796 while en route from Canada to Detroit via Lake Ontario On November 9th 1796 he discovered land grants extending eastward into Erie County were made to him by George Clinton1 – these patents included Tisch City located at present day East Liverpool on Buffalo Creek where Kapp had discovered earlier; this area would later become home to Buffalo Falls Resort & Casino which opened its doors on July 10th 1950
In 1868, Twinsburg was founded by George and Lucy McAteer. The town was named for their son, twins born to George and his wife, Martha. In 1870, the McAteers moved to a farm on the east side of town and began raising crops. They also built a log cabin that served as the first school in Twinsburg. In 1876, the family donated land to build a church in Twinsburg. The church was built on what is now Main Street. That same year, Twinsburg became an incorporated village. The first postmaster was Hiram Sibley. In 1888, the village had 8 residents and it adopted a constitution defining it as an organized borough with its own government structure and budgeting authority. By 1907, there were 25 residents in Twinburg! In 1912, twin engines were installed at the old schoolhouse for use during summertime schooling for boys and girls!
